چکیده

Nodes in wireless networks can be static or dynamic. Static nodes are stationary and their positions fixed distribution may follow a particular topology. On the other hand, dynamic considered mobile changed over time due to following specific pattern of movement, which also lead concept topology being irrelated. Simulating such needs lot attention many requirements should held. For instance, distributed according that reflects nature environment (e.g., Gaussian, Power-Law, Uniform distribution, etc.). Moreover, describing movement patterns need mobility model describes movements terms speed direction Individual model, Levy Flight Model, Cauchy Model). In addition aforementioned requirements, it is needed incorporate routing protocol governs data spread within simulation environment. This work designed variety experiments combine mentioned measure performance under colorful settings configurations. The metrics used this approach amount exchanged, coverage area, power memory consumption. Mobility models, node deployment strategy (distributions), protocols three factors will involved experiments. deal with four models Random Way Point Model (RWPM), Street (SRWPM), Manhattan (MM), (LFM). Three Power-Law Distribution, Chi-Squared Normal Distribution. third factor protocol, Probabilistic Flooding Routing Protocol. Different benchmarked using these metrics. results reveal facts about network simulations provide some recommendations developers architects.

Review of Mobility Models for Performance Evaluation of Wireless Networks

Performance evaluation of protocols and mechanisms in wireless networks require a good representation of client mobility. The number of mobility models has been developed, to emulate the changes of location in time of mobile wireless devices in communication networks, such as e.g. mobile phones, tablets, netbooks, palmtops. Mobility models are used to verify the protocols and algorithms develop...

Hypercube Bivariate-Based Key Management for Wireless Sensor Networks

Wireless sensor networks are composed of very small devices, called sensor nodes, for numerous applications in the environment. In adversarial environments, the securitybecomes a crucial issue in wireless sensor networks (WSNs). There are various securityservices in WSNs such as key management, authentication, and pairwise keyestablishment. Due to some limitations on sensor nodes, the previous k...

Performance of Mobility for Wireless Mesh Networks

wireless mesh networks (WMNs) with the objective to reduce the network traffic incurred by mobility management and packet delivery is proposed. These schemes are per-user based, i.e., the optimal threshold of the forwarding chain length that minimizes the overall network traffic is dynamically determined for each individual mobile user, based on the user’s specific mobility and service patterns...

Topology-Based Mobility Models for Wireless Networks

The performance and reliability of wireless network protocols heavily depend on the network and its environment. In wireless networks node mobility can affect the overall performance up to a point where, e.g. route discovery and route establishment fail. As a consequence any formal technique for performance analysis of wireless network protocols should take node mobility into account. In this p...

A Deterministic Multiple Key Space Scheme for Wireless Sensor Networks via Combinatorial Designs

The establishing of a pairwise key between two nodes for encryption in a wireless sensor network is a challenging issue. To do this, we propose a new deterministic key pre-distribution scheme which has modified the multiple key space scheme (MKSS). In the MKSS, the authors define two random parameters to make better resilience than existing schemes. Instead of a random selection of these parame...
